Building on the resounding success of our inaugural year, the Cold Chain Federation is thrilled to announce the return of our Emerging Leaders Programme for 2025! This initiative continues to champion the development of future leaders within the dynamic temperature-controlled logistics industry.

We are delighted to offer two awards this year; entry is open to all members.
The cold chain sector is a landscape of constant evolution and rapid change. Recognising the critical need to cultivate tomorrow’s leaders’ skills, the Cold Chain Federation is committed to empowering the next generation through this impactful program.
Reflecting on 2024’s Success:
In 2024, we proudly awarded four bursaries to exceptional individuals who embarked on a tailored leadership journey. Valentina Florina-Drescanu from Oakland International, Kale-Yves Chrouch from Lineage Logistics, Matt Anderson from Culina, and Izzie Cogan from Magnavale demonstrated remarkable potential. They benefit from a comprehensive leadership course, invaluable industry event attendance, and enhanced media exposure. We are excited to launch the 2025 Cold Chain Emerging Leaders Programme. This program is exclusively open to individuals employed by CCF members. Each year, we will recognise two outstanding individuals as Emerging Leaders, celebrating their contributions and potential to shape the future of our industry.
What Awaits the 2025 Winners?
- Tangible Recognition: Formal acknowledgement of their progress and potential within the cold chain industry.
- Key Industry Event Access: Attendance at three flagship CCF events: the Climate Summit, the CCF Parliamentary Reception, and Cold Chain Live.
- Leadership Insights: A roundtable discussion with a CEO/Board member.
- Industry Profile: A Generation Logistics case study.
- Enhanced Visibility: Increased profile through interviews in Cold Chain News and social media.
- Prestigious Leadership Development: Enrolment in a comprehensive one-year emerging leadership program, “Cultivate,” delivered in partnership with The Leadership Trust.
The Cultivate Programme: Nurturing Growth:
Our two 2025 winners will participate in the “Cultivate” program to empower new and first-time managers. This 12-month journey includes:
- A 360-degree leadership assessment and feedback process.
- A 3-day residential course (November 2025).
- Continuous development through online workshops and coaching modules.
- A second 2-day residential course.

Nomination Process:
This award is open to any individual working within the cold chain sector and employed by a CCF member.
To nominate a deserving individual, please complete the expression of interest form. Following your interest, we will send you a short application form to complete.
We are seeking emerging leaders – individuals who, with the right investment and recognition, have the potential to ascend to the highest echelons of our industry. There are no age or experience limits.
Selection Process:
The CCF CEO and a panel of esteemed industry leaders will meticulously assess each application based on the individual’s contributions and leadership potential.
